Virginia Beach crews from Public Works are regrading the oceanfront after a nor'easter pushed sand near the boardwalk (burying a handicap rail on Monday morning).
The city will spend days comparing pre-storm surveys to current conditions to assess the changes.

Negotiations between Anthem Blue Cross and Sentara Health remain stalled as they dispute rate increases ahead of the Dec.
31 contract expiry. Both sides (with over 200,000 affected members and an Oct. 1 deadline set) may see network terminations begin by year-end if no deal is reached.
