Working Women’s Wednesday: Coffee, Conversation & Spotlight Networking

Working Women’s Wednesday is a business-building experience designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners network, promote their brands, create professional content, and learn how to turn networking into real business opportunities. Women and men are welcome.

☕ 2:00–4:00 PM | Coffee & Conversation

Come sit at the table and talk business. We’ll discuss branding, marketing, networking, vendor opportunities, content creation, collaborations, and how to plan and promote your own networking event.

This is also a time to meet other entrepreneurs, exchange information, talk about what your business needs, and learn about upcoming opportunities through Grow Your Brand and Bridging The Gap Youth Program.

📣 4:30–5:15 PM | Hit the Streets: Business Promotion

We’re taking promotion outside the building!

We’ll head into the Downtown Norfolk/Granby Street area, including Selden Market , to network, distribute promotional materials, introduce our featured businesses, and invite the community to connect with us.

Our Spotlight and Ultimate Spotlight businesses receive street-level promotion as part of their experience.

Then we bring the connections back inside for Spotlight Networking . Meet business owners, potential customers, collaborators, and community partners while promoting your products, services, and brand.

This experience is designed to give you professional content and exposure that you can continue using to promote your business after the event is over.

This is where we help you move from attending someone else’s networking event to creating your own.

The Ultimate Spotlight Experience includes everything offered in the $150 Featured Spotlight package , including vendor space, your business interview, professional photo shoot, content creation, social media exposure, networking, and street promotion.

PLUS—we help you plan a networking event centered around YOUR business or brand.

You can invite your own customers, followers, business connections, friends, and community. We work with you on the event concept, promotion, networking experience, and opportunities to generate revenue.

Through this experience, your business can partner with Bridging The Gap Youth Program , create an event that supports the nonprofit’s mission, and have an opportunity to earn revenue through the event rather than simply paying to participate.

Ultimate Spotlight Experiences start at $250 and are customized based on the event concept, needs, and partnership structure.
