Open Mic at Big Woody's

About this event

Karl Werne is once again hosting an Open Mic night, happening every Wednesday from 7 to 10pm at the Va Beach BiG Woody's location on General Booth Blvd.

Call Big Woody's Virginia Beach on Wednesdays during business hours to reserve your own 15 minute set.

(usually 3 songs)

Karl will kick off the night and reserve the last set for himself to welcome any musicians who wish to accompany, (on hand drum, bass, sax, harmony, improvisational soloists, etc).

Karl Werne has hosted open mics on and off for over 30 years. His willingness to add guitar, hand drum or harmonies to various entertainers, his sense of 'quality control' for the audience, and his knack for creating a collaborative air between new or unfamiliar musicians has made him a favorite open mic host.

If you are ready for the public stage and have a new song you want to play, or if you are a musician looking to play with others, come check out the open mic every Wednesday night w/ Karl Werne at Big Wood
