- ➤ Amtrak trips between Hampton Roads and Washington, D.C. are temporarily replaced by bus service as crews expand rail service on the Long Bridge (a 100-year-old structure) with two trains each from Norfolk and Newport News plus two direct buses. 13News Now
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Virginia health officials reported a preschool-age child from the Eastern Region (including Hampton Roads) died from flu complications, marking the first pediatric fatality of the 2025–26 flu season.
