  • Lieutenant Adam Bernstein from the Virginia Beach Police Department carried the Olympic torch in Turin for the Special Olympics and honored fallen officers by writing their badge numbers on his shoes. He was chosen as one of the final runners before the cauldron was lit on March 8 — his run raised money for the Special Olympics and paid tribute to lost friends.  13News Now
