Firefighters contained a brush fire burning between 10 and 15 acres near the 1200 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard Sunday afternoon — crews kept flames from reaching commercial structures while one firefighter was treated for exhaustion.

Pups & Pints, the dog-friendly bar on London Bridge Road, will close on March 29.

The venue opened in April 2023 and hosted community events such as weddings and baby showers, while its owners plan to remain active in Virginia Beach.
