ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Two adults were displaced after a house fire in Gloucester Village on Sunday morning when the Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a report of light smoke from a second-floor bedroom — firefighters controlled the fire quickly with no injuries reported. WAVY
- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash in Virginia Beach sent one person to a local hospital on Sunday afternoon—responders from the Fire Department, EMS, Rescue, and Police arrived at about 1:10 p.m. on the 5300 block of Indian River Road and police are investigating the crash. WAVY
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Over two dozen Princess Anne High School students visited Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on April 10 to explore health care careers during Internship Day—where they toured operating rooms, labs, and other departments. The Central Business District Association matched over 100 students with local businesses based on their ranked interests to give them real-world insight into different professions. Daily Press
