- ➤ On Monday, Virginia Beach police arrested 18-year-old Josiah Spann for a cell phone robbery on Sassafras Court in which a man was followed after he was asked for a lighter and then fired his own gun in self-defense — authorities said his case is linked to an earlier shooting that injured a 17-year-old while a third shooting on Haygood Road remains unrelated. 13News Now
