Virginia Beach nonprofit GreenBox Foundation secured a $10,000 Creative Neighborhood Grant from the city to fund an art installation on a College Park basketball court.

The group will finalize plans and announce a College Park Day event soon & continue its commitment to community outreach.

Nimmo United Methodist Church will host its 235th anniversary celebration on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Princess Anne Road location, featuring tours, food trucks, games, a puppet show, and door prizes, while planning a 50-year time capsule.
