- ➤ A Norfolk judge sentenced two men—Deandre Lamont Ward to 93 years and Dameron Shaikeem Wright to 73 years—and a third man, Zyrail Ladontay Mitchell, to 16 years for a violent October 2nd, 2021 robbery and assault at a Virginia Beach apartment where suspects forced victims inside, sexually assaulted a woman while her son watched, and locked her in a dog crate, and all are now barred from contacting the victims. 13News Now
- ➤ Joseph Molineaux, a former Virginia Beach City Public Schools P.E. teacher, was arrested for trespassing on school grounds and possession of child porn — he had received at least seven reprimands for various violations during his career from 1999 until his retirement in February. WAVY
- ➤ Virginia Beach police said a person was seriously injured near Sullivan Circle Tuesday night when a shooting occurred around 10:13 p.m.—the victim is in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing. WTKR
