A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on West Neck Rd around 6:20 p.m. Friday — he was taken to a local hospital and his injuries were not life-threatening — officials said.

The Virginia Beach Police Department is asking for help finding 84-year-old Elizabeth Alexander Williams, who is considered endangered due to severe medical conditions and was last seen driving a silver Subaru from the 800 block of Five Forks Rd around 12:20 p.m. on Monday—those with information should call 757-385-4101.

A Virginia Beach business owner, Coleman Ferguson, launched the Virginia Beach Arena Project by submitting a proposal Monday morning to build a 20,000‐square‐foot indoor dome at the Oceanfront that could host concerts and a professional sports team.

Councilmember Cash Jackson‐Green said the proposal will be reviewed by city council on Tuesday to decide if a feasibility study will be conducted and the project pushed forward.
