Virginia Beach will soon have its second Trader Joe's at Town Center—occupying part of the former Bed Bath & Beyond space in Columbus Village.

The new store has not set a grand opening date and will be the fourth Trader Joe's in the region—joining locations in Newport News and Williamsburg.

Two men — John Round III from Chesapeake and Sridaharan Sangaran from Virginia Beach — face multiple charges linked to the death of Jamie Bills, who was found unresponsive on Princess Anne Road on March 1; Round is charged with involuntary manslaughter and assault and battery while Sangaran faces charges of malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, and assault and battery with hearings scheduled for today and July 25.

The Virginia DMV worked with eight state, local and federal agencies to recover 18 stolen cars worth over $1M from the Port of Norfolk in June — the vehicles were headed to Africa and the Middle East.

Liberty Military Housing CEO Philip Rizzo said he is taking military families' concerns seriously after residents at Wadsworth Shores reported flooding, long power outages, and pest infestations.
