Hampton Roads and Southside Harley-Davidson teamed with the Virginia Beach Police Foundation to launch the 2025 Reese and Girvin Street Glide Raffle, with all proceeds supporting the families of Officers Christopher Reese and Cameron Girvin who were shot in February.

Raffle tickets cost $100 each and are limited to 500 with the winner to be announced Sept. 13—tickets are available at the Yorktown and Witchduck Road dealerships.

A residential fire broke out Saturday afternoon in the Green Run area on the 1400 block of Old Lyne Road at approximately 4:10 p.m.—crews had the fire under control by 4:21 p.m. and the Red Cross is helping the two displaced residents.
