- ➤ A Virginia Beach man, Connor Land, 21, was sentenced on Tuesday to 365 days in jail with 90 days suspended for stalking a woman by following her from a Dollar General to her home, knocking on her door and returning later, while a judge noted his sentence would allow him to receive treatment and counseling — a decision meant to address his behavior without imposing the maximum penalty.
