Hampton Roads radio station 92.9 The Wave in Virginia Beach resumed broadcasting around 9:30 a.m. Sunday after a tower malfunction caused an outage and the engineering team fixed the issue — restoring the station's signal.

On Sunday around 7:45 p.m., a VBPD SUV struck a truck at the North Birdneck Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard intersection, and the truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries while the officer sustained minor injuries as the VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash.
