Virginia Beach Oceanfront will open Atlantic Park Surf on Saturday, August 16.
The park will feature the first Wavegarden Cove surf lagoon in North America—producing up to 1,000 waves per hour across more than 20 wave types and offering 55-minute surf sessions with beach club amenities.

Atlantic Park Surf will open Aug.
16 with a new 2.67-acre surf lagoon that produces up to 1,000 waves per hour in 55-minute sessions costing between $91 and $161. The $350 million project is backed by the city and private partners (including Venture Reality Group and Pharrell Williams) and also features a Dome entertainment venue and retail spaces under construction.
