  • News 3 has reported on major construction projects over 75 years in our region, detailing the $4 billion Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel expansion and the $350 million Atlantic Park development that promise changes for coastal Virginia. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Men of Faith and First Tee + Hampton Roads are teaming up to mentor Virginia Beach middle school boys by teaching golf skills and life lessons, with a kickoff event at Topgolf for 20 Bayside Middle School students. The program plans to grow its support with more mentors, volunteers, and donations.  13News Now

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Virginia Beach School Board voted unanimously Tuesday night to convert Bayside 6th Grade Campus into a community park — a plan in development for 10 years following campus consolidation — and the project will cost about $1 million for demolition and property preparation as school board and city leaders work on final agreements.  13News Now
