Surfers Healing camp in Virginia Beach celebrated its 20th anniversary this weekend by hosting a two day event that helped over 400 children with autism and other developmental disabilities surf with professional guidance — founders Izzy and Danielle Paskowitz, who started the program in 1996, said the idea began when they saw their son Isaiah respond positively to the ocean.
