- ➤ Power was cut to 101 apartments when a fire and electrical failure triggered the sprinkler system at a Virginia Beach apartment complex on the 5600 block of Infinity Lane Saturday evening around 6:16 p.m.—firefighters found light smoke from an electrical box, Dominion Energy restored power promptly, and no injuries were reported. - ➤ On Thursday, a fire caused by an electrical issue damaged a mobile home in the Pembroke area, displacing three adults and four dogs, and firefighters brought the blaze under control by 4 a.m.—the Red Cross is now providing temporary housing while the family seeks community support. 13News Now
