- ➤ Virginia voters will choose a new governor and other state and local officials on November 4 in an election that features Rep. Abigail Spanberger against Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears and includes Virginia Beach contests such as Commonwealth’s Attorney, Sheriff, and a city charter referendum — early voting began on September 19 and voters have until October 24 to update their registration. 13News Now
