On Tuesday, Smithfield Foods & its partners distributed 1,000 holiday hams and bags of sides to support local families in need.
The program is part of ongoing efforts to relieve hunger during the festive season.

Virginia Beach residents will receive a $50 annual Oceanfront parking voucher starting April 1, 2026 — the new program, approved by City Council on Dec.
9, will offer digital vouchers via a mobile app and an option to add another $50 credit for $25. Participants should check parking guidelines in city lots and on street metered spaces.
