About this event

What combination of offensive, pitching, and financial metrics best explains why some National League (NL) teams outperform others?

Major League Baseball (MLB) has become increasingly reliant on data and analytics to make strategic decisions regarding player development, team performance, and financial investments. This study will examine the relationship between offensive performance, pitching performance, and financial resources and their impact on the success of National League teams. By analyzing team statistics and payroll data across five MLB seasons, this research seeks to determine which combination of factors is most strongly associated with consistent team success.
