Winter Wonderland: The Coleman Nursery Collection

Join with family and friends at WINTER WONDERLAND: The Coleman Nursery Collection, a classic that generations of Hampton Roads visitors and residents have shared in since its origin at Portsmouth’s Coleman Plant Nursery more than fifty years ago. After the nursery closed their doors in 2003, the displays relocated to the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center. Each year since 2004, Santa Clause and his many elves return to set up their shops featuring toy and candy factories, and a bakery all nestled with Victorian ice skaters and sledders, Sleeping Santa and woodland animals frolicking in enchanted forests.

The display opens on Saturday, November 27th, 2026

HOURS OF OPERATION

Thursday 10 am – 4 pm

Friday 12 pm – 8 pm

Saturday 12 pm – 8 pm

Sunday 10 am – 4 pm

Group visits (10 or more) by appointment and available on Wednesdays too.

Admission is $3 per person, children under 2 are free.

CLOSED: Monday-Wednesday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
