EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Virginia Beach City Public Schools may raise ticket prices by 10% for sporting events to cover extra costs for coaching salaries, equipment upgrades, and security. The school board will vote on the proposal April 8 and if approved the changes will take effect for the school year starting in 2025 and ending in 2026 — concerns over rising costs prompted the plan.
